With all this excitement, it was well past dawn when we got to the DJ booth scene, located at the tippy top of the Angel Orensantz Centre. We sat on the stairs waiting for Mac to get through make up. We can tell it's all coming to an end: Michael Lerman our AD has an interview later in the day for another film. Meanwhile upstairs tensions are high; Scotto's smoke machine can fill the space, but this is a union problem and props aren't too happy.

On the other hand their smoke machine seems to generate less smoke than a cigarette. There is another tense moment when we are rolling and Keoki is spinning the wheels of steel. Fine, except that the needle on one of the records is spinning on the label. So Scotto reaches in and places the needle in the right place. This is another props violation. These innocent infractions almost seem funny. But we're all past the laughing stage.
