New York City, New York

Shoot the sprinkler gag. This goes off without a hitch and Manson somewhat steals the scene by rushing into the water and loving it. For a follow up he is brilliant also when he gets slimed in our nod to 'Carrie' in the King and Queen of Downtown contest. Too late someone correctly points out that it was actually the King and Queen of Manhattan contest. Ooops. The first time we did this effect our careful preparations were floored by the fact that the slime completely missed him. But the second time it landed bang on. Props had done a great deal of research into what makes the perfect green slime and had discovered that the secret of Nickleodeon's goop is oatmeal.

Kida gone Bollywood

Initially the scene was a bit of a problem since the whole thing had a flat lackluster feel to it. This was solved by making Kide and Sacred Boy the bearers of the crowns. Kide was dressed in some amazing homemade beaded Bollywood construction that perfectly complemented the set, and Sacred Boy was dressed like a pervy page boy. Fortunately, writers from Time Out, UK, The Face, and Rolling Stone were all on set making us feel that we needed to be on our best behavior.
